Škoda Auto has reached a major milestone in the automotive industry by producing its four millionth SUV. Since launching its first modern SUV, the Škoda Yeti, in 2009, the brand has now built the widest SUV lineup in its history.

Of Škoda’s current 12 model series, seven belong to the SUV segment. The SUV family ranges from the India-exclusive sub-4-meter Škoda Kylaq and Škoda Kushaq to the compact Škoda Kamiq and Škoda Karoq, the seven-seater Škoda Kodiaq, and the all-electric Škoda Elroq and Škoda Enyaq. SUVs now account for more than 55% of the brand’s total deliveries.

Škoda SUVs among Europe’s most popular models

The all-electric Elroq, launched just a year ago, has quickly become one of Europe’s most popular EVs, while the updated Enyaq family continues its sales success. In the first half of this year, 72,000 electric Škoda vehicles were delivered across Europe.

Škoda SUVs are produced in the Czech Republic, India, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Models developed and manufactured in India have significantly boosted sales in the region, and assembly of the Kushaq has also started in Vietnam.

Škoda Auto is pressing ahead with its electrification plans. By 2026, the lineup will expand with the Škoda Epiq, the brand’s smallest electric SUV, and the Space SUV, a new flagship based on the seven-seat Vision 7S concept.

Škoda SUVs continue to make their mark
