PEUGEOT, the brand that merges innovative technology and striking design with unique driving pleasure, has left behind another year of historic achievements. In 2025, PEUGEOT Turkey broke its all-time record with 86,459 units sold. Gupse Kaplan, Brand Director of PEUGEOT Turkey, described 2025 as a “performance mode” year, stating: “Our record-breaking sales of 86,459 units have placed us in an incredibly strong position within the global PEUGEOT world. Turkey has completed the year as the 3rd largest market for PEUGEOT globally. We are now officially on the global podium.”
PEUGEOT continues to stand out with its rapidly rising performance in Turkey, delivering high-tech solutions paired with an unmatched driving experience. After ending 2024 with record sales, the brand maintained its momentum throughout 2025, successfully renewing its historical record.
With a fully refreshed product range, PEUGEOT became one of the most dynamic brands in the market, reaching 86,459 total sales and securing a 6.3% market share. The brand’s light commercial vehicle (LCV) sales reached 26,661 units, accounting for a 9.4% share, which positioned PEUGEOT as the 4th largest player in Turkey’s total LCV market.
Domestic Growth Leads to a Global Podium Finish
Reflecting on the brand’s strategic leap, Gupse Kaplan, Brand Director of PEUGEOT Turkey, noted: “I previously stated that 2025 would be a ‘performance mode’ year for us. Indeed, it has been a year where we showcased our power in every field, proving that our success is sustainable and not a coincidence.”
Highlighting the significance of the 86,459-unit record, Kaplan added: “Turkey finished the year as the 3rd largest Peugeot market in the world, following only France and the UK. We even climbed to the 2nd spot globally during certain months in the summer. Furthermore, in the light commercial vehicle segment, Turkey now ranks 2nd globally. Local production has been a massive driver in crowning our commercial success, and it will continue to support us.”
