Hyundai Motor Company introduced the new IONIQ 6 and IONIQ 6 N Line at the Seoul Mobility Show in Korea. Setting new standards for aerodynamics in electric vehicles, the IONIQ 6 now arrives with a sleeker and more modern design. Featuring a refined silhouette and improved proportions, the car stands out with its aggressive and sporty styling. The N Line version, inspired by the previously revealed RN22e concept model, also offers a glimpse into the future of the IONIQ 6 N.
Simon Loasby, Senior Vice President of the Hyundai Design Center, stated, “Each model expresses its unique character while enhancing every line and detail under an advanced design concept.”
Pure Flow and Refinement’ Design Concept

With the new IONIQ 6, Hyundai highlights a different identity for electric aerodynamics. Following the ‘Pure Flow and Refinement’ concept, the body is designed to channel air movement in a more precise and natural way.

The vehicle’s elevated hood and extended shape, combined with its shark-nose design, create an aggressive yet elegant profile. Black accents extending from the lower body panels to the doors emphasize the IONIQ 6’s aerodynamic form. The rear spoiler from the previous model has been removed, giving the new IONIQ 6 a smoother, more refined silhouette while introducing an extended new spoiler to maintain aerodynamic performance.

At the front and rear, the car features newly designed slim daytime running lights. Other lighting elements have also been redesigned to enhance the modern and high-tech appearance. Horizontal design elements contribute to a wider stance, while chrome accents complement the rear bumper’s styling.

The interior of the new IONIQ 6 has been refined for a more comfortable ride and an intuitive user experience. A redesigned steering wheel enhances the driving feel, while new door panel designs add a fresh touch. The center console layout has been optimized for a better travel experience, and an enlarged climate control screen improves ease of use.
A Bolder and More Aggressive N Line Style

Unveiled alongside the new IONIQ 6, the IONIQ 6 N Line inherits the design DNA of the RN22e concept introduced in 2022. To highlight its dynamic and aggressive styling, the N Line features front and rear bumpers with larger air intakes, sculpted body details, and an overall more muscular look. Additionally, black elements inspired by the RN22e’s rear design contribute to the sporty proportions of the IONIQ 6 N Line. The two-dimensional Parametric Pixel lamp design further enhances its digital aesthetic.
