MAN Targets Over 30,000 TGE Van Sales in 2025 With “Next Level” Upgrades
MAN Truck & Bus is setting ambitious goals for its light commercial vehicle segment by aiming to sell over 30,000 TGE vans in 2025. After achieving a record-breaking 27,700 unit sales in 2024, the TGE continues to play an increasingly vital role in MAN’s business strategy. While 98% of TGE sales are currently concentrated in the European market, MAN is planning to expand into global markets, including the United Arab Emirates.
With a refreshed model portfolio now available, MAN has officially resumed sales of the TGE following a comprehensive model year update.
“MAN TGE Next Level is the Most Extensive Update in Our Model’s History”

Daniel Holbein, Head of MAN Business Van, emphasized the significance of the update, stating:
“The van segment has become a strong growth story for MAN. In just eight years, we’ve gone from zero to 27,700 units sold and a 3.5% market share in Europe. With MAN TGE Next Level, we’ve introduced the most extensive update in our model’s history. We’ve also equipped the vehicle with cutting-edge assistance systems and, combined with our expansive service network, we deliver exceptional value to our customers.”
Enhanced Safety and Comfort in the New MAN TGE

Built on the upgraded 2025 MAN TGE Next Level platform, the new MAN TGE Coach and MAN TGE Intercity are tailored for different transportation needs. The new models feature a next-generation onboard network architecture, enhanced control units, and upgraded sensors, making them more resilient to digital intrusions.

Safety has taken a front seat, particularly for passenger transport. New advanced driver assistance systems include:
-
Blind Spot and Collision Warning (standard)
-
Turn Assist (optional)
-
Cruise Assist Plus with Emergency Assist
-
ACC Stop & Go
-
Active Lane Keeping
-
Traffic Jam Assist (optional)
Standard features such as Emergency Brake Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition further boost passenger safety.
Digitally Enhanced Driver Cockpit for Greater Usability

The 2025 MAN TGE also brings major driver-focused enhancements. The fully digital cockpit now includes an ergonomic layout with intuitively placed controls and expanded storage. A digital instrument cluster provides real-time access to all key vehicle data, while the new multi-function steering wheel allows for seamless management of driving systems without taking hands off the wheel.
Features like keyless start, electronic parking brake, MAN SmartLink, and a new gear selector integrated into the steering column simplify everyday use. Acting as the control hub, the MAN Media Van touchscreen (standard 10.4-inch display) provides access to vehicle functions, DAB+ radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and, optionally, navigation, voice control, and media streaming.
