Pirelli has been ranked first for the second consecutive time in comparative tests for all-season tires conducted by two esteemed German organizations, highlighting its safety and comfort performance across diverse conditions.

Pirelli has once again established its leadership in the all-season tire segment, being honored with the title of “Best All Season Tire Manufacturer of the Year” by the German automotive club Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD) and the prestigious German magazine Auto Bild.

The two flagship tires of the Pirelli All Season SF3 range—the Cinturato All Season SF3 and the Scorpion All Season SF3—received the highest scores in their respective categories in the 2025 comparative tests conducted by AvD. They stood out for their balanced performance and levels of safety and comfort across all conditions evaluated. The Cinturato All Season SF3 achieved excellent results in braking tests on dry and wet surfaces, handling, and resistance to aquaplaning. The Scorpion All Season SF3 positioned itself as a benchmark for SUVs with its superior traction and safety performance on all surfaces. The comparative tests confirmed that Pirelli’s all-season tires provide safety year-round in varying road conditions.

Cinturato All Season SF3 Receives ‘Exemplary’ Rating

Auto Bild magazine described the Cinturato All Season SF3 as “versatile and reliable” in its assessment of the best all-season tires. The Cinturato All Season SF3 had previously won first place overall in the magazine’s 2025 super comparison of 30 different all-season tires purchased directly from the market. The tire was rated “Exemplary” in the overall ranking due to its balanced performance across all test conditions, including excellent safety on wet surfaces, high resistance to aquaplaning, superior performance on dry surfaces, and good results on snow and in terms of durability. The Auto Bild tests showed that the Cinturato All Season SF3 had no weaknesses in diverse test conditions, consistently offered superior safety, and easily secured Pirelli the title of Best All Season Tire Manufacturer of the Year.

In tests specific to SUVs, the Scorpion All Season SF3, which shares the same development platform as the Cinturato, achieved the highest scores in the categories of braking on dry and wet surfaces, handling, and silence.

These achievements, added to awards won in previous years, confirm the technical superiority of the Pirelli Cinturato and Scorpion All Season SF3 ranges.

Advanced Technology for All-Weather Performance

Product development relies on Pirelli R&D department’s most advanced virtual modeling techniques. New generation compounds and adaptive tread patterns with 3D sipes guarantee grip and safety even as the tire wears. These innovations allow for the simultaneous improvement of the different performances expected from all-season tires.

The Cinturato All Season SF3 holds an A-class rating on the European label for wet braking and the TÜV SÜD Performance Mark quality certificate. It was also honored by Dekra for its cumulative braking performance (the sum of performance on dry, wet, and snowy surfaces). This range is available in sizes from 15 to 20 inches.

The Scorpion All Season SF3, developed for SUVs as an evolution of the Cinturato, has an A-class rating on the European Label in the wet grip category. Furthermore, it achieved excellent results in cumulative braking during Dekra tests. The range offers various sizes from 17 to 21 inches.

Both the Cinturato and Scorpion All Season SF3 are available in special versions for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. They are also equipped with technologies such as Elect and the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System for acoustic comfort. Both tires successfully passed demanding tests in winter conditions and carry the 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Snowflake) mark, proving their reliability even at low temperatures and on snowy surfaces.
