More than six MM Technology trucks, equipped with Prometeon Serie 02 Rally tires, are set to compete in the world’s most iconic rally.
Prometeon Tyre Group, the only global tire company focused exclusively on industrial and commercial tires, has announced the renewal of its partnership with Dakar Champion Martin Macík Jr. The collaboration is confirmed to continue for the 2026–2028 period.
Following the Czech driver’s victory in the 2025 Dakar Rally truck category with Prometeon‘s S02 Rally tires—developed and manufactured at Prometeon’s Kocaeli factory in Turkey—Prometeon will participate in the 2026 Dakar Rally alongside Macík’s MM Technology Team. This development highlights the company’s deep commitment to motorsport and its objective to test its technology under the most extreme conditions.
More than six trucks competing in the 2026 Dakar Rally will be fitted with Prometeon Serie 02 Rally tires. Among them will be the Czech manufacturer’s newest model and Martin Macík Jr.’s factory truck, the MM Technology EVO4 “Joseph.”
The Prometeon Serie 02 Rally range is engineered to tackle extremely demanding off-road conditions and is poised to play a crucial role in the upcoming new edition of the Dakar Rally. The experience gained in such extreme scenarios allows Prometeon to further enhance its tires for durability, reliability, and safety—elements that are vital both in competitive environments and in the daily operations of professional fleets.
