The official name of Audi’s Formula 1 team has been announced. Following a collaboration with Revolut, the team name and logo were revealed: Audi Revolut F1 Team. The official race livery that the team will use for the 2026 season will be unveiled for the first time at a global launch event in Berlin on January 20, 2026. The launch is designed as a highly interactive experience to showcase the Audi Revolut F1 Team brand world in its full scope.

Audi has passed one of the most critical milestones on its journey toward participation in the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship: the official team name and logo have been revealed, and the global launch event is set for January 20, 2026, in Berlin.

The new team identity, developed after the naming partnership announcement in July 2025, symbolizes a new phase in Audi‘s Formula 1 presence, both technically and commercially. This structure, which merges Audi‘s racing heritage with Revolut’s global financial technology leadership, serves as a strategic foundation defining the team’s new era.

The Revolut Collaboration: Strategic Foundation of the Team’s New Identity

The partnership with Revolut is positioned as a strategic building block in the team’s identity. Revolut, a global leader in financial technology, shares Audi’s vision for innovation, performance, and access to a broad multinational audience. This collaboration creates new touchpoints across a wide range of areas, from fan activations and race experiences to in-app benefits and global engagement strategies.

The partnership has also been directly integrated into the core functions of the team’s operations:

  • Revolut Business has been integrated into the team’s financial processes, providing a more agile, transparent, and efficient global financial infrastructure.

  • Revolut Pay is positioned as the payment solution for the team’s official online store, offering fans a fast, secure, and seamless shopping experience.

These two structures demonstrate that the collaboration ensures strong integration not only at the communication or brand level but also in operational depth.

The Berlin Launch: Audi Revolut F1 Team Reveals Its Full Identity

The Audi Revolut F1 Team will fully introduce its brand identity to the world at the global launch in Berlin. The event will highlight the three core elements forming the team’s brand architecture—simplicity, technical intelligence, and emotional impact—and showcase the values shaping the team’s future Formula 1 presence. Following the launch, the doors will open to the public on January 21, offering fans direct access to the team’s world for the first time.

One of the focal points of the Berlin launch will be the world premiere of the official race livery that the team will use for the 2026 season, following the introduction of the Audi R26 Concept in November. With the countdown to the first race dropping below 50 days, the Audi Revolut F1 Team will reveal how its visual identity will make an impact on the grid and how Audi‘s design principles will be reflected in Formula 1.

Sauber Motorsport AG Changes Name to Audi Motorsport AG

In line with the team’s structural transformation, Sauber Motorsport AG is being renamed Audi Motorsport AG. Additionally, the Technology Centre in Bicester, UK, is being restructured under the name Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK. Audi announced that the names Sauber Holding AG and Sauber Technologies AG will be retained out of respect for its heritage.

“The announcement of the Audi Revolut F1 Team name and logo is one of the most critical steps we are taking as we progress toward the pinnacle of motorsport,” said Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG and Chairman of the Board of Sauber Motorsport AG. “This identity clearly reflects our vision and innovative spirit. In January, we will introduce the world to the beginning of an entirely new era for the Audi brand in Berlin.”

Mattia Binotto, Head of the Audi Revolut F1 Project, informed: “The identity announced today is the concrete result of months of intensive work carried out within the team. The team is shaped by a strong culture built on precision, superior engineering, and determination. The Berlin launch will be the moment when the entire team comes together on the same stage for the first time on the road to our first race in 2026, and we invite our fans to join this journey.”

Jonathan Wheatley, Team Principal of the Audi Revolut F1 Team, added: “Today, our project has received its official identity. The Audi Revolut F1 Team name symbolizes the combined strength of our teams and partners in Germany, the UK, and Switzerland. It creates a visible and tangible milestone that energizes the project as we move toward 2026.”

Nikolay Storonsky, CEO and Co-founder of Revolut, said that Revolut and Audi are united by their shared commitment to flawless engineering and innovation in Formula 1: “The new team name and logo are the first symbols of this powerful alliance. This partnership will accelerate Revolut’s global growth and strengthen our bond with fans.”
