In a resounding victory, the new Maserati MCPURA has been named “Dream Car” of the year by the readers of Quattroruote, Italy’s leading automotive magazine. Securing a staggering 50% of the total votes, the MCPURA has officially established itself as the new benchmark for performance, elegance, and visionary engineering.

The Maserati MCPURA claimed the undisputed top spot in the annual “New Car of the Year” competition organized by Quattroruote, a prestigious tradition since 2000. In a category where four finalists were pre-selected by editors, the global audience delivered a landslide victory to the Trident, highlighting the car’s status as a modern icon of Italian luxury.

The Purest Essence of the Trident

As the successor to the legendary MC20, the MCPURA raises the bar for exclusivity and performance. Available in both Coupé and Cielo (spyder) versions, the model is built on an ultra-innovative carbon-fiber monocoque developed in collaboration with Dallara.

• Design Mastery: The car features iconic butterfly doors and, in the Cielo version, a state-of-the-art electrochromic glass roof that can transform from opaque to transparent at the touch of a button.

The Quattroruote awards have evolved since 2022 to include specialized categories: Concept, Dream, and Lifestyle (with the addition of the 100% electric Volt category in 2025). The MCPURA’s win in the “Dream Car” segment reinforces Maserati’s role as a leader in the high-performance luxury market.
