Maserati GT2 Stradale: Ready to Hit the Road

The Trident’s latest super sports car, the GT2 Stradale, is setting new standards for an unparalleled driving experience on both the road and the racetrack.
Unveiled during the prestigious Monterey Car Week in California, the Maserati GT2 Stradale is now preparing to enter the European market, bringing its racing heritage to the streets.
Symbolizing Maserati’s return to competitive racing, the road-legal GT2 was introduced in Andalusia with an exclusive driving experience for global partners and clients. Participants had the opportunity to test the supercar’s impressive racing DNA and signature Trident luxury on both open roads and the track. The test drive started from the captivating city of Marbella, wound through the scenic curves of Parque Nacional Sierra de las Nieves, and concluded at the exclusive Ascari circuit near Ronda, a track named after Italy’s legendary Formula 1 champion. The 5,425-meter circuit served as a fitting reminder of Maserati’s rich motorsport legacy.
When Maserati embarked on the development of the MC20, it had already made the bold decision to return to the racing world. This philosophy, combined with the brand’s storied racing history, led to the creation of the Maserati GT2, a model that marked the company’s triumphant comeback to the Fanatec GT2 European Series Championship. The GT2 category seamlessly blends Maserati’s sporting heritage with the demands of racing enthusiasts, making it an integral part of the brand’s motorsport strategy and its mission to reclaim podium finishes.
Bringing together the best elements of the MC20 and GT2, the GT2 Stradale boasts an astonishing top speed of 324 km/h and delivers an enhanced 640 CV (471 kW) from its extraordinary V6 Nettuno engine—10 horsepower more than the MC20. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, it stands out as one of the most agile rear-wheel-drive (RWD) supercars in its class.
For a truly personalized driving experience, the GT2 Stradale comes with a range of exclusive color schemes, crafted under Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program. One of Ascari circuit’s sleek pit areas was dedicated to showcasing these bespoke designs, while another section highlighted Maserati Corse’s rich racing heritage alongside the GT2’s predecessor.
Production of the Maserati GT2 Stradale commenced in December at the brand’s historic Viale Ciro Menotti factory in Modena. Paying tribute to Maserati’s founding year, only 914 units have been produced, with each car featuring a special badge that proudly states “1 of 914.”
