Škoda Auto Continues to Grow with Strong Financial Results
Škoda Auto has released its financial results for 2024, reporting a total revenue of €27.8 billion. This marks a 4.7% growth compared to the previous year, making it the brand’s most successful financial year to date. In addition to increasing unit sales, Škoda has improved its profitability by over 20%, reinforcing its position as one of the automotive industry’s most sustainable and profitable manufacturers.
Accelerating Electrification

With the introduction of the fully electric compact SUV, Elroq, and the facelifted Enyaq, Škoda aims to double its EV sales target by 2025. Since its initial debut in 2020, the Enyaq has maintained strong sales momentum, ranking among Europe’s most popular electric vehicles. In 2024 alone, the model achieved 79,500 unit sales, securing its top position in the segment.
Škoda’s electrification strategy also includes expanding its EV lineup, with upcoming models such as the Epiq SUV and a new family SUV based on the Vision 7S concept, both expected to hit the market in the coming years.
Sustained Global Growth

In 2024, Škoda increased global vehicle deliveries by 6.9%, reaching 926,600 units, up from 866,800 the previous year. Production figures also grew by 2%, surpassing 1.027 million vehicles.
The brand’s strong performance in Europe has been a major contributor to this growth, as Škoda became the fourth best-selling car manufacturer on the continent for the first time in its history. Key markets such as Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the UK, and Turkey witnessed record-high market shares.
Škoda’s best-selling model remains the Octavia, which recorded 215,700 units sold, reflecting a 12.4% increase in demand.

Beyond Europe, Škoda continues expanding in international markets. The India-exclusive Kylaq SUV, launched in 2024, is set to play a crucial role in the brand’s goal of selling 100,000 units in the country by 2026. Additionally, the updated Kodiaq is now produced locally in India, leveraging manufacturing advantages for the region.
Škoda is also making strategic moves in Vietnam, where it is fast-tracking the completion of a new factory in the Quang Ninh region. This facility will produce the Kushaq and Slavia models, strengthening the brand’s footprint in Southeast Asia. In Kazakhstan, Škoda made a strong comeback, selling over 1,400 vehicles in 2024.
Commitment to Carbon Neutrality

Škoda remains committed to achieving carbon neutrality at all production sites in the Czech Republic and India by 2030. To achieve this, the Mladá Boleslav power plant is being fully converted to biomass energy, reducing annual CO₂ emissions by 290,000 tons.
In 2024, the company also achieved an energy savings of 44,675 MWh, reducing its overall carbon footprint. This amount of saved energy is equivalent to fully charging approximately 840,000 Škoda Elroq 50 models.
With a strong financial outlook, ambitious electrification plans, and a focus on sustainability, Škoda Auto is on track to further solidify its position as a leading global automotive brand.
