Stellantis, one of the world’s largest mobility companies, delivered a strong performance in the first half of 2025, strengthening its position as the second-largest automaker in the AB30 market. With a 17% market share and over 1.3 million vehicles sold, the company not only solidified its dominance in light commercial vehicles (LCVs) but also became the leader in the hybrid vehicle segment, recording a 4.2-point growth since the beginning of the year.

Despite a 13% contraction in the European LCV market, Stellantis expanded its share by 1.4 points compared to the same period in 2024, reaching nearly 30% market share and securing its leadership in the segment. According to Stellantis Enlarged Europe Chief Operating Officer Jean-Philippe Imparato, the company achieved results aligned with 2024 while strategically strengthening its order book:

“Stellantis is the undisputed leader in the A and B segments, and our order intake is consistently growing — already 13% higher than December 2024. These strategic results allow us to manage market fluctuations more steadily,” said Imparato.

Hybrid Growth and Strong Model Lineup

Stellantis ended the first half of 2025 as a key player in electrified mobility. The automaker climbed two positions in the hybrid vehicle market, becoming the segment leader. In addition, orders across its brands increased by 10% year-to-date, further supporting its growth momentum.

The company also launched 15 new models across 10 brands during the first half of 2025, including the Citroën C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera, and FIAT Grande Panda. These launches mark the beginning of a bold expansion in the B-segment, expected to boost volumes in the coming months. Looking ahead, Stellantis plans to introduce the new FIAT 500 MHEV and the new Jeep® Compass by the end of 2025.

Strong Market Presence Across Europe

Stellantis reinforced its leadership in several key European markets:

  • France: The group maintained close to a 30% market share, with Peugeot standing out at 15.6% (+1 point vs. 2024). The Peugeot 208, 2008, and E-3008 ranked among the top 10 best-sellers.

  • Italy: Stellantis led the market, with FIAT remaining the best-selling brand. The Panda topped overall sales, Jeep® Avenger became the best-selling SUV, and Alfa Romeo Junior dominated the premium B-SUV segment.

  • Iberian Peninsula: Stellantis retained its leadership in Portugal and ranked first in Spain’s electric vehicle market.

  • Germany & UK: The Opel/Vauxhall Corsa secured first place in the B-Hatch segment, while Stellantis led the small van category in the UK, with Peugeot, Citroën, and Vauxhall taking the top three spots.

Stellantis: Driving Europe’s Future of Mobility

With strong hybrid growth, resilient LCV leadership, and an expanding lineup of electrified models, Stellantis continues to shape the future of sustainable mobility in Europe. Its performance in the first half of 2025 highlights not only its ability to navigate market challenges but also its ambition to accelerate the shift toward a cleaner, more versatile mobility ecosystem.
