Powerful and Impressive: Porsche Unveils the First All-Electric Macan GTS Model

Porsche is expanding its electric SUV lineup with the Macan GTS. This new model redefines standards in driving dynamics with up to $\text{420 kW}$ ($\text{571 PS}$) of power, an electronic rear differential lock, and a lowered air sport suspension. Staying true to the GTS tradition, the Macan stands out with distinctive styling and black exterior/interior accents.

Since the legendary 904 Carrera GTS in 1963, three letters have held special meaning for motorsport enthusiasts: GTS. Now, this iconic heritage is revived for the first time in an all-electric Macan. The model accelerates from 0 to $\text{100 km/h}$ in just 3.8 seconds, reaching $\text{420 kW}$ ($\text{571 PS}$) of power and $\text{955 Nm}$ of torque with Launch Control.

The new Macan GTS is engineered to showcase its power not just on straightaways, but also through corners. The standard Sport Chrono Package includes the special “Track Mode” adopted from the Taycan. This mode maximizes battery cooling to prevent performance degradation (derating) even under long and demanding track conditions. The model combines high performance with efficiency, offering an average range of up to $\text{586 km}$ (WLTP) and a $\text{270 kW}$ charging capacity that allows charging from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.

GTS-Exclusive Sport Air Suspension

The new Macan GTS delivers unparalleled traction and agility in corners, thanks to the quick-reacting electronic Porsche Traction Management (ePTM) and standard Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus. The electronic rear differential lock, combined with a perfect $\text{48:52}$ weight distribution, ensures the car is firmly planted on the road. The GTS-specific $\text{10 mm}$ lowered sport air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) provide extraordinary agility. The Porsche Electric Sport Sound system elevates the driving experience with a GTS-specific sound signature in “Sport” and “Sport Plus” modes.

Exterior Design: The GTS Signature

The new Macan GTS catches the eye with its unmistakable design details. Black painted accents on the front, side, and rear sections emphasize the car’s muscular and sporty profile.

The new Macan GTS also has the distinction of being the first model to feature the new Sport Design Package, which will be introduced in 2026. The standard $\text{21”}$ Macan Design wheels in anthracite gray reinforce this powerful stance, while $\text{22”}$ RS Spyder Design wheels are available as an option.

New color options are added to the Macan series with the new Macan GTS. In addition to the popular Crayon color, the GTS-exclusive Carmine Red and Lugano Blue, offered for the first time on the Macan, are available as options.

GTS Interior Package

The optional GTS Interior Package, introduced for the first time with the new Macan GTS, ensures color harmonization between the exterior and interior design. The package offers color choices consistent with the body paint, including Carmine Red, Slate Grey Neo, or Lugano Blue.

These color options are used for the contrasting decorative stitching on the upholstery, the seat belts, and the “GTS” lettering on the seats. Additionally, Race-Tex upholstery on the steering wheel, center console, door panels, and seats provides a more sporty appearance.
