Chery, China’s automotive export leader, is challenging its users with two rigorous events at the 2025 Brand User Summit. Dubbed the “Tai Chi Road” Safety Crash Challenge and the All-Terrain Test Drive Challenge, these events are designed to push the boundaries of engineering, intelligence, and user experience.

The first event, symbolizing the philosophy of “Safety for the Family,” will feature Chery‘s flagship SUV, the TIGGO 9, undergoing one of the industry’s toughest tests: a 15-degree small overlap dual-vehicle collision at the Global Headquarters Crash Test Center. In the second event, participants will face challenges ranging from the “Black Box Parking Challenge,” supported by 540° + APA technology, to the “Wild Frontier Test” conducted with the HIMLA pick-up model on specialized tracks co-designed with users.

Chery Global User Summit Starts with Extreme Challenges

The Chinese automotive giant, Chery, prominent for its sustainable development efforts, has commenced one of its most important annual events: the 2025 Chery Brand User Summit. The event, held in Wuhu, China, and running until October 22, welcomes participants under the theme “Co-Creating New Movement.” This global convergence of innovation and collaboration will showcase how Chery is redefining mobility through user co-creation, smart technology, and sustainable development, bringing together the brand, its products, and its ecosystem.

This year’s two spotlight events are the “Tai Chi Road” Safety Crash Challenge and the All-Terrain Test Drive Challenge. Both are meticulously designed to test the limits of engineering, intelligence, and the user experience.

“Safety for the Family” at the Forefront of Testing

At Chery’s Global Headquarters Crash Test Center, the flagship SUV, the TIGGO 9, will undergo the rigorous 15-degree small overlap dual-vehicle collision test. Representing the “Safety for the Family” philosophy, this event marks the latest milestone in Chery’s safety innovation.

Unlike standard tests, this asymmetrical collision bypasses the main vehicle chassis, impacting the body’s weakest points and thus testing structural and safety engineering to the absolute maximum. With a cage body structure composed of 85% high-strength steel, the TIGGO 9 intelligently channels collision forces, reflecting the Tai Chi concept of “redirecting rather than resisting” to protect the cabin and its occupants.

The focus will then shift to the All-Terrain Test Drive Challenge. Themed “All-Terrain Conquest, Human-AI Co-Creation,” this event transforms traditional test drives into a two-way co-creation experience. Global media representatives, Key Opinion Consumers (KOCs), and user representatives will join Chery engineers in a series of real-scenario tests. Challenges include the “Black Box Parking Challenge,” enhanced by 540° + APA technology, and the “Wild Frontier Test” with the HIMLA pick-up model on specialized terrains co-designed with users.

Experiencing the “Future of Smart Living”

The event will also feature iCAUR, Chery’s smart ecosystem brand, which will present an immersive experience dedicated to the “Future of Smart Living.” With a product line extending from vehicles to smart mobility and renewable solutions, iCAUR symbolizes Chery’s goal of creating a multi-dimensional, human-centric ecosystem where innovation meets emotion.

All these experiences perfectly embody Chery‘s brand philosophy: “In Somewhere, For Someone, Be One.” Through innovation in safety, intelligence, and human experience, Chery continues to build a future of mobility shaped by trust, technology, and co-creation.
