Hyundai Motor Turkey has appointed YongJin Alex Kim as its new CEO, marking another leadership transition within the company. Sangsu Kim, who has held the position since 2021, has completed his tenure in Turkey and will now return to South Korea to continue his career.
A graduate of Hanyang University’s Mechanical Engineering Department, Alex Kim has extensive experience within the Hyundai Group. He previously served as CEO of Hyundai Motor Slovakia and Hyundai Motor Czech Republic, later taking on the role of Vice President of Business Strategy at Hyundai Motor Europe in 2020. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President of Global Sales at Hyundai Motor Company. With a 30-year track record at Hyundai, Kim now steps into his latest role as CEO of Hyundai Motor Turkey.
Since 1997, Hyundai Motor Turkey has produced over three million vehicles, contributing significantly to employment, exports, and the Turkish economy while maintaining a strong presence in the automotive sector.
