Global public transport leader Karsan made a strong impression at Busworld 2025, unveiling not one but three groundbreaking innovations. The highlight was the world premiere of the Autonomous e-JEST, the second autonomous model in Karsan’s portfolio. Alongside this, the company also launched the e-ATA Hydrogen, developed in collaboration with Toyota, and its new vision-defining ecosystem Karsan AI (Autonomous Intelligence).
Speaking at the launch, Karsan CEO Okan Baş emphasized the significance of the Autonomous e-JEST:

e-ATA Hydrogen – developed with Toyota, delivering zero emissions and long-range hydrogen-powered transport. The 12m model features 250 kW motor power, 22,000 Nm torque, 88-passenger capacity, and up to 600 km range, setting a new benchmark in sustainable mass transit.
Karsan AI (Autonomous Intelligence) – a next-generation mobility ecosystem that perceives, decides, and learns in real time. Created in collaboration with ADASTEC and Applied Autonomy, Karsan AI goes beyond vehicles, offering cities an end-to-end autonomous ecosystem from production to operation.
