Kordsa Showcases Sustainable and Innovation-Driven Solutions at Tire Technology Expo 2025

A global leader in advanced material technologies, Kordsa participated in Tire Technology Expo 2025, one of the leading events in the tire industry, held in Hannover, Germany. At the exhibition, Kordsa presented its latest advancements in tire reinforcement technologies, emphasizing its vision of providing localized production advantages to the global tire industry.
A subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, Kordsa introduced its sustainability and innovation-driven solutions at Tire Technology Expo 2025, which took place from March 4-6, 2025, in Hannover, Germany.
Kordsa showcased a range of smart, sustainable, and high-performance tire reinforcement solutions, including its umbrella brand, REV Technologies, designed to enhance sustainable mobility. Among the innovations on display were high-performance products tailored for electric vehicles, tire cord fabric made from rPET (recycled plastics), and RFID tire tagging solutions.

Reaffirming Kordsa’s leadership in tire reinforcement, Doğan Sevim, Kordsa’s Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated:

As part of the exhibition’s conference sessions, Kordsa conducted a special presentation on Cokoon, an eco-friendly, formaldehyde-free bonding technology developed in partnership with Continental. On the first day of the event, Mustafa Yasin Şen, Kordsa’s Research Specialist in Chemicals and Materials, and Cornelia Schmaunz-Hirsch, Continental’s Senior Reinforcement Development Specialist, discussed the advancements and benefits of Cokoon technology in textile reinforcement bonding.
Additionally, in another panel discussion, Begüm Aytuğar, Kordsa’s Marketing Manager, and Seda Aracı, Kordsa’s Technology Manager for Tire Cord Fabric, delivered a presentation titled “Accelerating Sustainable Solutions for Tires: Sustainable Nylon 66 and Polyester Reinforcement Technologies.”
