Premium Driving Experience Reimagined with Advanced Electrified Powertrains and Elegant Design

Lexus ES 300h
Luxury automaker Lexus has officially unveiled the eighth-generation ES sedan, taking sophistication and comfort to an entirely new level. The global debut took place at Auto Shanghai, where the brand showcased its latest electrified powertrain options, including full hybrid and battery electric variants. The new Lexus ES is set to launch in markets like Turkey starting next year.
Advanced Technology Meets Exceptional Comfort
The next-generation Lexus ES has been developed to deliver superior comfort, performance, and safety, enhanced with state-of-the-art technologies. Lexus has elevated the globally renowned qualities of the ES—refined ride quality, quiet cabin, and premium comfort—to new heights in this latest iteration.
Electrified Powertrain Options for a Sustainable Future
Lexus announced the new ES model’s global powertrain lineup during the premiere, reflecting the brand’s vision for a carbon-neutral future. The all-new ES will be available with full hybrid (HEV) and battery electric (BEV) powertrains, offering front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options to meet the diverse needs of eco-conscious drivers.
The ES 300h is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, delivering 201 horsepower. It will be offered in both FWD and AWD variants in Western Europe. For Eastern European markets, the more powerful ES 350h will be introduced, producing 247 horsepower using the same engine platform.

Additionally, the new ES lineup introduces two fully electric variants—the ES 350e with 224 HP FWD, and the ES 500e with 343 HP AWD—demonstrating Lexus’ advanced capabilities in vehicle electrification.
A New Era of Elegant Design
The new Lexus ES embodies the brand’s future-facing “Clean Tech x Elegance” design philosophy. Maintaining elegance as a signature element across generations, the latest ES blends emotional design with functional aesthetics. The iconic Lexus “spindle grille” evolves into a new “spindle body” silhouette, reflecting the vehicle’s electrified identity.
From the side, the ES features a sleek, aerodynamic profile with a low center of gravity. The flowing lines and coupe-like rear deliver a trunkless appearance, while the extended dimensions enhance presence:
-
Length: 5,140 mm (+165 mm)
-
Width: 1,920 mm (+55 mm)
-
Height: 1,555 mm (+110 mm)
-
Wheelbase: 2,950 mm (+80 mm)

Highlights include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch touchscreen display, and soft-touch materials with ambient lighting to enhance perceived quality. One standout feature is the innovative hidden buttons, a technology inspired by Lexus’ Omotenashi approach. These controls remain invisible when the car is off and subtly light up when the vehicle is started, ensuring an intuitive and refined user experience.
The Ultimate Fusion of Technology, Luxury, and Comfort
With its advanced electrified options, refined aesthetics, and next-level interior craftsmanship, the new-generation Lexus ES sets a fresh benchmark in the luxury sedan segment—offering both drivers and passengers a premium experience like no other.
