Recognized for its low-floor design, versatile use in both urban and intercity transport, and outstanding performance in sustainability and flexibility, the vehicle continues to make waves in the public transportation industry.

Following its title as the “2025 Sustainable Bus of the Year”, the Lion’s City 12 E LE further proves its excellence in innovation and eco-friendly transport solutions. Since its debut in 2023, the electric bus has impressed with its adaptable operation across city and rural routes. Its latest award was granted by the German industry publication Busplaner, with winners selected through reader votes from a shortlist of 66 innovations across 13 categories.

With a flexible setup of four to six battery packs, transport operators can tailor the vehicle’s range, charging times, and passenger capacity to meet specific needs.

Built on the proven 12-meter solo bus platform, the Lion’s City 12 E LE marks MAN’s entry into the intercity electric bus segment. The vehicle offers seating for 41 passengers, plus dedicated spaces for wheelchairs and strollers, ensuring inclusive mobility. Its flat low-floor rear area—free of any engine tower—makes it a smart choice for suburban and commuter lines as well.
