Leading industrial and commercial tire manufacturer Prometeon has reaffirmed its commitment to Turkish Racing Academy, the team of 2024 World Superbike (WorldSBK) Champion Toprak Razgatlıoğlu.
Known as “El Turco,” Toprak Razgatlıoğlu secured his second World Superbike Championship title in 2024, becoming only the third rider in history to win with two different manufacturers. Despite missing six races due to injury, he led 248 out of 593 laps, proving his exceptional skill and determination.
Born in 1996 in Turkey, Razgatlıoğlu is widely recognized as one of the most talented and dynamic riders in Superbike racing. A standout talent in Kenan Sofuoğlu’s Turkish Racing Academy, he made his World Superbike debut in 2018 and quickly gained recognition for his aggressive riding style and outstanding braking skills. In 2021, while competing with Yamaha, he ended Jonathan Rea and Kawasaki’s six-year dominance, becoming the first Turkish rider to win the championship. In 2024, he repeated his success with BMW, solidifying his place among the sport’s greatest legends.
