Stellantis Restructuring Continues at Full Speed!
Stellantis N.V., one of the world’s largest mobility companies, is actively shaping its leadership team, announcing new appointments as it prepares for its updated strategy rollout in 2026.
Stellantis N.V., one of the world’s leading mobility companies, is continuing to strengthen its executive leadership team. Building on the positive momentum achieved in recent months, the company has announced new appointments to the Stellantis Leadership Team as it prepares to unveil its updated strategy in 2026.
Commenting on the new appointments, Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa said, “With these new appointments, we are bringing exceptional talent, both internal and external, into key leadership roles as we prepare our company for future success. We are also further strengthening our regional focus by assigning specific responsibilities at the Stellantis Leadership Team level to our Asia-Pacific and Middle East & Africa organizations.”
Key Executive Appointments and New Responsibilities
The restructuring includes several significant changes:
- Emanuele Cappellano is appointed Head of Expanded Europe and European Brands, in addition to his current role as Head of Stellantis Pro One.
- Jean-Philippe Imparato will now focus full-time on boosting the performance of Maserati as its CEO and will also take responsibility for Stellantis & You. Imparato will report to Cappellano in this capacity.
- Herlander Zola, who currently serves as Head of Brazil Commercial Operations and Head of South America Light Commercial Vehicles, has been appointed Head of the South America Region, succeeding Cappellano.

- Samir Cherfan joins the Stellantis Leadership Team, maintaining his current responsibilities as Head of the Middle East & Africa Region and Micromobility.

- Grégoire Olivier, currently Head of China Strategy, is appointed Head of the China and Asia-Pacific Region and joins the Stellantis Leadership Team.

- Francesco Ciancia is set to rejoin Stellantis from Mercedes-Benz to take up the role of Chief Manufacturing Officer starting November 1.
- Ralph Gilles joins the Stellantis Leadership Team as Chief Design Officer.
Strengthening Regional Focus and Talent
Antonio Filosa emphasized the importance of the new talent and reinforced regional leadership.
“With these new appointments, we are bringing exceptional talent, both internal and external, into key leadership roles as we prepare our company for future success,” said Filosa. “We are also further strengthening our regional focus by assigning specific responsibilities at the Stellantis Leadership Team level to our Asia-Pacific and Middle East & Africa organizations. We are very pleased to continue benefiting from Jean-Philippe’s expertise in his new role.”
The company also announced the departure of two executives: Arnaud Deboeuf will leave the company on November 1 to pursue new opportunities, and Philippe de Rovira, who previously served as the combined Head of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions, has left Stellantis to pursue new career opportunities. Filosa thanked both for their contributions over the years.
