Inspired by the dynamic world of motorsports, Toyota is set to unveil the European launch of the Hilux GR SPORT version in March in Turkey. The 2.8-liter GR SPORT model, which will be offered alongside the Hi-Cruiser, Adventure, and Invincible versions of the Toyota Hilux, will be showcased in Cappadocia’s stunning landscapes and challenging terrains.
Cappadocia will host this special event, providing the perfect setting to highlight the Hilux GR SPORT’s superior off-road capabilities. Known for its blend of nature and history, Cappadocia features volcanic rock formations, steep valleys, dirt roads, and rocky terrains that create demanding driving conditions. Toyota will demonstrate the legendary Hilux’s exceptional off-road performance to members of the European press on these rugged routes.
As part of the launch event, Toyota Europe will welcome journalists from across Europe to Cappadocia. They will have the opportunity to test the new Hilux GR SPORT under extreme conditions while also experiencing Turkey’s natural wonders, contributing to the promotion of the country.
A total of 129 international journalists from 20 countries will drive the 204 HP, 2.8-liter Hilux GR SPORT through Cappadocia’s unique natural terrain. On Toyota’s specially prepared tracks, participants will enjoy a 61 km driving experience, with additional specialized technical drives pushing the total test distance beyond 100 km.
By organizing this test drive in Cappadocia’s rugged and demanding geography, Toyota will once again prove the Hilux GR SPORT’s outstanding road grip, durability, and adaptability to all types of terrain.
